Welcome to our new Sign On page!

The steps to sign on have not changed. You can continue to use your existing User ID, PIN and Token Number to securely access our services.

Beware of an email with subject line “Secure Information A9239”

CIBC is aware of a malicious and fraudulent email that masquerades as an email from CIBC. This email contains a link, that if clicked will install malware on your computer. Once installed, users have received the following error messages when trying to sign on: “Checking security settings”, “Checking access” and “In progress loading screen”.

 

Users were then called by fraudsters posing as CIBC employees and asked to type in their User ID and sign on credentials again. In some cases, another fraudster would then call other users at the same company and ask them to sign on. Once the fraudsters obtained credentials from multiple users at the same company they tried to use this information to send out fraudulent wires.

 

If you have received this email, please DELETE IT IMMEDIATELY.
